"Thomas Donohue" (tomonomics)

I was at the Beacon Theater last night for Jerry Seinfeld’s opening night of his one year ‘residency’. After the (great) show, he came back out and fielded some questions. One guy screamed out ‘What are your three favorite cars, Jerry???’
To which Seinfeld replied “No one wants to hear that.” So, he didn’t answer...but did take the opportunity to plug CinCgC.
My guess would have been the Porsche lineup of 2.7RS, 718RSK, and Gmund.

Way to be a dick, Seinfeld. Obviously SOMEONE wanted to know that answer.

Nice! I wish I would've known sooner that he was going to have some performances in NY. I looked at buying some tickets but they were $300+.

Yeah, the 12 shows sold out in about six minutes online. There’s only ~2500 seats in the Beacon, many of which are $VIP$ Packages or reserved for industry/press. Highly recommended if you can score a seat, he killed it for an hour-twenty straight.

It’s definitely on my list to see him perform, one of my favorite actors/comedians/writers. I saw Dave Chappelle live a couple years ago and was SO glad because it was amazing. I even secretly recorded all of the audio from his set on my phone so I could have it forever but I’ll never put it online out of respect for him and his craft. I’ll do the same for Jerry if I get the chance.

Would’ve been cool to hear his answers but here’s what his logic was. Answering the question for him results in approximately 10 people thinking “oh cool, I’ve always been curious.”
But saying “no one wants to hear that” in a joking way, I bet you it got laughs. That's his job

You know, with that answer he reveals the reason for a lot of his success.
